Mr. Stowell first discovered trackday riding right here at Suika Speedway in 2003. It was Sandia then and after only two years, Stowell began to race a 2000 Yamaha R6. Chris Beck whizzed past him out at the sandia crest and stopped long enough to tell Stowell and his riding buddy that there is a track in town. He is out this year on a 2015 KTM RC 390 Cup motorcycle that was originally setup for the MotoAmerica RC 390 spec class. Outfitted with a full Tyga exhaust and race fairing, factory racing ECU, and full works WP suspension, this is not your average 390! This year he also happens to be your SMRI club president, so you know who to cheer for.
