SMRI

SMRI + CCS Southwest + Vintage Motorcycles = The Southwest Vintage Cup Series.

Who is the fastest vintage road racer in the Southwest?

For 2010, CCS Southwest and Sandia Motorcycle Roadracing Inc. are excited to continue the Southwest Vintage Cup Series.

The SWVC will take place at two rounds at Firebird Raceway in Phoenix during RRSW run events and two rounds at Sandia Motor Speedway in Albuquerque during SMRI run events.

Schedule:

The races will be run under SMRI Vintage class rules.  There will be four Historic Vintage classes (Ultra Lightweight, Lightweight, Middleweight and Heavyweight) as well as a SuperVintage race.

Pre-Registration is recommended.  Go to http://www.roadracesw.com/ to register for the RRSW rounds and click on the “forms” link on the SMRI homepage to register for the Sandia Rounds.

Both clubs will offer a special two event license for racers that do not hold a SMRI or RRSW race license.  You will be required to produce a current race license from another race club, and pay a fee to purchase a RRSW Vintage two event license.  The same rules and fees apply to SMRI events.  AMA Membership is also a requirement at the SMRI rounds.

Come out and be a part of this special event!
