http://www.tachyoninc.com/XCMicro.htmlit has a 16 GB card and is smaller then my cell phone. I have the other one, that's the one that I mount on the back of my bike. I can record all day with both and don't have to worry about batteries or running out of space on the card.

Re: Track day footage 7/24/2010 Intermediate group
Logroller, I accidentally walked off with your towel after the track day on the 24th. I'm the n00b with the 1198 that you were so helpful to. Sorry; I had brought an almost identical towel, but it never made it out of my backpack. Let me know how to get it back to you. I may be doing another track day, but I'm not sure which one next. Also, thanks to all for the help & great attitudes. I had a great time in the novice class on the track day 100724; might see if they'll let me run with the intermediate group next time. I ride a 2010 1198 with 2k miles on it presently; all broken in.

oops, sorry. That was me. I was working on my shift points for getting a good drive out of the hairpin for Sunday's races. I figured out pretty quickly that an additional downshift for the corner exit wasn't the way to go. My orange CB400F that I was riding has all of 34hp at the crank, so riding it is all about momentum. Kinda like a 125GP bike. Except that it doesn't have a slipper clutch... Sorry if I gave you a start. Tracy

Zia thunder,
Do you use forward or rear point of view with the rear mounted camera?

Re: Track day footage 7/24/2010 Intermediate group
Mostly I use it facing backward, but I'v use the forward view to get a idea of what my body positioning on the bike was. If you go to youtube (search for ziathunder), I have some up there of Brian and Eric at HPR with camera aimed forward and I have some from last year with the camera aimed backward at those following me.

I'm not really worried about the towel and did not even think of it until now. Come to mention it I did notice it on your bag at one point on the day. I should be at the August track day unless it proves to be a scorcher i.e., above 90. Not tomorrow, but next Saturday I should be on the mtn if you want to meet up. Send me a PM with your email/#. James, are you in for next Sat. on the mtn? What email do you want me to use? You don't seem to use that wardle address.
