Want to see what your bike can really do? Want to go faster than you ever thought you would?
All of this is possible with a SMRI trackday.
Moto Authority is sponsoring the next trackday. Tickets through them will only be $75.
We supply the track, the corner workers, and the medical staff so that you may ride with no worries. During a track day you can explore the limits of your machine without putting yourself in danger. The members of the SMRI have seen first hand the results of motorcycle crashes on the Crest, so we offer this service so that you keep the rubber side down. If you have never ridden a track or would like to improve your riding skills we offer a "Street Skills Course" with our road race instructors free of charge.
Track days are open to all motorcyclists (first-time track riders and experts). Track day riding requires minimal bike prep, so come out to improve your riding skills in a controlled environment & have a great time doing it. If you don't have leathers, rentals are available for $25.
We have modified our schedule for the day to maximize YOUR track time.

We have a double header weekend coming up. Trackday ran with the new config followed by a race day on the new config! Also, we need 6 pre paid students to put on the school this month.
To sign up...
- Go over to paypal.com.
- Login to your paypal account or create one if you do not have one.
- Click on the Send Money tab at the top of the page.
- In the To field... put in OUR email (smri@smri-racing.org).
- Fill in $170 for the amount.
- Click on Continue at the bottom of the page.
- You can fill out some optional info at the bottom of the next page if you want...
- Verify all the info and then click on Send Money.

Welcome to the official website for the Sandia Motorcycle Roadracing Inc. (SMRI). The SMRI is comprised of members that are dedicated to motorcycle safety and promoting open track days and competitive roadracing events in New Mexico.
The goal of the SMRI is to offer fast-paced action & excitement for spectators, great competition & purses for racers, and high performance motorcycle excitement for everyone. The SMRI is the only organizer of track days, rider schools (both basic skills & racer licensing), and a complete roadracing series.

On this site you'll find information concerning race dates, track days, events, membership info, & other items related to the organization & it's activities. Monthly membership meeting is held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Route 66 Diner on Central, 7:00 PM.
